Using the website
LYRIQ processes the requests needed to show pages, search the library, and record song likes. Search terms are sent to our backend to return results. Server access logs include IP addresses, requested paths, response status, and timings. Routine access logs omit query strings; diagnostic logs may contain additional request context. Application and access logs share a configured seven-day retention limit, subject to earlier size-based rotation.
Cookies & saved preferences
Your browser can store reading preferences, your analytics choice, and a visitor identifier used for song likes. These help the website remember choices and manage repeat likes. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings; doing so may reset preferences.
Optional analytics
When enabled on the public website, Google Analytics loads only after you allow it. We send page paths and performance measurements rather than search query strings or microphone audio. Use the Analytics preferences button to change your choice. Declining analytics does not prevent you from reading lyrics.
Advertising
Where advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, personalise, and measure ads, limit repeated ads, and prevent fraud. Consent choices for advertising are managed separately from analytics through the advertising consent platform. If advertising consent is unavailable, LYRIQ’s configured ad units remain off.

Microphone & singing features
Microphone access requires your browser’s permission. You can revoke that permission in your browser. Microphone audio is not sent to Google Analytics.
Service providers & external links
The website and database are hosted on AWS Lightsail. Hosting and analytics or advertising providers may process information in countries other than your own. External source links have their own privacy practices.
